Abstract
Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep behavior disorder (RBD) is characterized by loss of normal voluntary muscle atonia during REM sleep, which can induce poor sleep quality or injury. Some kinds of sleep disorders are known to present with RBD-like symptoms. I present the case of a 32-year-old man with severe obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome mimicking RBD that was established by polysomnography.
